About the event
Volunteer to Make a Meal at the local Ronald McDonald House. The group of 10 or less volunteers including FAAR officers are invited to come to the Westmoreland House and prepare a comforting home-cooked meal for guest families.
Contact ethelchipper@aol.com to volunteer on July 22, 2023 or to join the list to volunteer at future FAAR community outreach opportunities.
- All food will be prepared and cooked on-site unless it comes directly from a grocer or bakery.
- FAAR will be supplying all of the food/ingredients needed for the meal.
- We will prepare a meal enough to serve 20-30 people and will consist of a main dish and at least 2 sides (including a protein, carbohydrate and fruit/vegetable).
